JDR Schaufeli Model
The Job Demands-Resources model (JD-R model) is a commonly used model for the
study relationships between job characteristics and job outcomes. The model assumes
that high job demands lead to stress reactions and ill health
(the depletion process), while having many energy resources (job resources) leads to higher motivation and productivity (the motivational process).
In this study, we first discuss the assumptions of the model, as well as the key findings of the research conducted on this model.
